Provisioning an instance with openredis is fast and easy. We handle all the heavy lifting for you.
Data storage is always painful: you have to make sure that you run backups and that backups are always working. We offer hourly backups that are stored in S3, and you can access them anytime from your dashboard.
For cases when imminent storms—or any sort of natural disasters—are expected to occur, we temporarily provision extra replicas across regions.
We use the most recent Redis version for all new instances provisioned. If you need something special, we have no problem setting up your instance with a particular version.
Choose a plan which suits your needs, and upgrade to a bigger plan anytime. When you upgrade, a new instance will be provisioned for you, and will be synced with your existing one. Your old instance will be left running for 1 hour to ensure minimal downtime upgrades.
Hosting Redis requires careful handholding. One of the most common problems people encounter is running out of memory. We monitor your memory usage, and notify you when it reaches 80%. In addition, we boost your max memory temporarily in order to prevent potential data loss.
